
IASHEP-005 Certified Construction Industry Train the Trainer (CCTT)
Course Description
This course enables the student to become a trainer in the IASHEP 10- and 30-hour Construction Safety and Health training program. It allows the trainer to conduct both IASHEP 10- and 30-hour construction safety classes and to issue IASHEP 10- and 30-hour Construction Safety and Health training program completion cards to participants after verifying course completion.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this program, participants will be able to:
Understand OSHA construction safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Plan, develop, and deliver effective safety training programs for construction workers and supervisors.
Apply adult-learning principles and teaching techniques to engage trainees effectively.
Conduct hazard recognition and risk assessment training, emphasizing safe work practices.
Requirements / Prerequisites
Students must successfully complete the IASHEP 115 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General
Industry and have five (5) years of safety and health work experience in General Industry or a degree in
occupational safety and health. Trainers are required to attend IASHEP 205 Update for Construction Industry
Trainers at least once every four (4) years to maintain their trainer status.

This course is designed for individuals responsible for training or mentoring construction personnel. The target audience includes:
Safety officers and trainers in the construction industry
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) managers and coordinators
Supervisors, foremen, and team leads responsible for worker safety
Contractors and subcontractors tasked with employee training
