Course Description
When an accident occurs in the workplace, a thorough and complete investigation must be conducted to prevent similar incidents in the future and to comply with legal and policy standards. Supervisors or team leaders are most likely to be called upon to investigate any accident in their work area. For the investigation to be meaningful, it must identify all causes of the accident and provide appropriate recommendations for corrective actions to eliminate or control those causes.
This program explains how to systematically gather and analyze the necessary information to develop effective recommendations for preventing similar accidents. It also demonstrates how to use the collected information to improve the management of health, safety, and environmental practices in the workplace.
