Course Description
The basic industrial hygiene training course is a four-day program that provides an introduction to fundamental industrial hygiene principles. It is designed for entry-level industrial hygienists or technicians, safety professionals, and others who may have responsibilities related to industrial hygiene.
Learning Outcomes
Hands-on training is combined with classroom lectures to provide a practical understanding of industrial hygiene concepts.
Students learn how surveys for air contaminants, noise, ventilation, heat, and illumination are planned and conducted.
Students gain the skills to perform basic industrial hygiene measurements themselves.
Students develop the knowledge to specify requirements when obtaining contractual industrial hygiene services.
