Course Description
The Certified Robotic Safety Manager (CRSM) course is an intensive four-
day professional development program designed to provide participants
with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify robotic hazards,
conduct robotic risk assessments, implement safeguarding systems,
comply with OSHA requirements, and develop effective robotic safety
programs. This course examines industrial robots, collaborative robots,
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs),
and robotic systems operating in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics,
aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and other industrial environments.
Participants will learn how OSHA machine guarding regulations, ANSI
robotic standards, ISO robotic standards, NFPA electrical requirements,
and risk assessment methodologies are applied to protect employees
working around robotic systems. The course emphasizes practical
applications, hazard recognition, safeguarding methods, incident
prevention, and compliance strategies.

Plant Managers, Operations Managers, and experienced Safety Consultants advising organizations on robotic safety program development and regulatory adherence should also pursue this advanced certification. Candidates must have prior CRSA certification or equivalent experience and currently hold a management role with team leadership and budget responsibilities.
