Level: Advanced Type: Online Duration: 5 weeks Hours: 40 hours

Course Description

The Certified Robotic Safety Administrator (CRSA) certification program is an advanced
professional development course designed for safety professionals, robotics engineers,
maintenance personnel, automation specialists, operations managers, compliance
officers, supervisors, and robotic system integrators responsible for the safe design,
operation, maintenance, and management of robotic systems.
As robotics, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs),
collaborative robots (cobots), and automated manufacturing systems continue to
expand throughout industry, organizations need qualified professionals capable of
conducting robotic risk assessments, evaluating machine safeguarding systems,
implementing ANSI and ISO safety standards, and developing effective robotic safety
management programs.
This comprehensive five-day course provides practical knowledge of robotic hazards,
machine safeguarding principles, functional safety requirements, energy isolation
procedures, AGV safety systems, robotic risk assessments, collaborative robot
applications, and robotic incident investigations.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for robotic systems
Identify hazards in robotic work cells
Perform task-based risk analysis
Document risk reduction measures

Requirements / Prerequisites

Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, engineering, chemistry,
or physics OR a bachelor’s degree in a closely related biological or physical science
from an accredited college or university. Three (3) years of acceptable work experience
may be substituted for each year of an academic degree program (i.e. Twelve years of
experience is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree).

Participants must:

Attend all five days
Complete practical exercises
Participate in workshops
Successfully pass the final examination

Target Audience

The Certified Robotic Safety Administrator (CRSA) course is designed for mid-to-senior level Safety Engineers working in manufacturing and automotive industries who are responsible for implementing robotic safety protocols.
Robotics Engineers and Automation Engineers working in industrial automation and production facilities will benefit greatly from this certification, as it covers advanced safety standards for robotic systems and automated work cells.
