Course Description
This course covers the evaluation and reduction of noise hazards in general industry and the construction industry.

OSHA General Industry and Construction Noise Standards
Properties of sound
Noise-induced hearing loss
Noise exposure control
Selection and use of hearing protection
Conducting sound level surveys
Worker training
Classroom demonstrations of noise instrumentation and hearing protection devices are featured.
