Course Description

Objectives: The Healthcare Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager training and certification course is designed to help acute and long-term healthcare professionals enhance their knowledge base and professional recognition in the field of hospital safety, health, and environmental subjects. Recertification is required every three years. Courses cover best practices in the following areas: emergency management, accident investigation, hazard recognition and analysis, industrial hygiene, environmental infection control, and compliance with standards and regulations from the CDC, CMS, EPA, Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and NRC.
