Certified Hazwoper Training Specialist (CHTS)

Course Description

Our HAZWOPER Training Specialist (CHTS) course covers OSHA HAZWOPER standards, a review of chemistry and toxicology, identification of hazardous materials hazards, hazardous waste operations and emergency response requirements, emergency incident command procedures, and practical hands-on exercises for students.

Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of OSHA HAZWOPER regulations (29 CFR 1910.120) and compliance requirements.

Develop and deliver effective HAZWOPER training programs for awareness, operations, and technician-level workers.

Conduct hazard assessments, exposure evaluations, and implement appropriate control measures.

Evaluate training effectiveness, maintain documentation, and ensure regulatory record-keeping.
